Fire Sculptures

This project allows firing the sculpture in the open air, in order to observe the changes on the color, surfaces and form of the clay.

We chose to create the form of a tree due to it’s close relationship with fire: wood acts as fuel for burning; while the woods are often being burnt to ashes after burning.

This form of Mini Gama (Kiln) is taken from the image of a Chinese  mythical creature: the monster fish.
